Welcome to Hidden Path Studios pottery. I create wheel-thrown pottery embellished with nature-inspired elements and colors. I always incorporate some of the natural pottery color and texture in every design. The glazes typically range from light, creamy, neutrals to greens and blues. Each piece is unique and tiny imperfections reveal the human hand involved in its creation. Be sure to follow Hidden Path Studios on Instagram and Facebook to view the latest collections. Currently, pieces are available for local purchase in Alpharetta, Georgia and the surrounding metro area. Please reach out with any questions or custom order inquiries.
Light colored clay bodies provide a perfect backdrop for applying darker, more graphic patterns. The previously explored motifs of vines and flowers are repeated, in addition to paisleys and ferns. These smaller forms are well-suited for holding snacks, fresh cut flowers, or houseplants.
This earthy collection features Highwater ‘Brownstone’ clay from Asheville, NC. Delicate floral and vine motifs in white contrast cleanly against the warmth of the clay. All interiors shimmer with an opalescent, glossy glaze called ‘Honey Flux.’ The larger bowls are ideal for holding fruit or serving salad, while the smaller pieces are just the right size for serving snacks or ice cream.
These speckled stoneware pieces were created using WC 606 from Laguna Clay in California. A semi-opaque celadon glaze was applied to allow the speckles to show through. Some areas and interiors expose the beautiful, warm clay in its natural state. Subtle designs depicting vines, flowers, and butterflies herald the beginning of Spring.
